1) Estimates, Authorizations & Communications
- Written estimate (repairs over $50). You are entitled to a written estimate.
- 20% threshold. If repairs are expected to exceed this estimate by more than 20%, your prior approval is required. Approvals may be obtained via signature, phone, SMS, or email and will be documented in our work order.
- Declined work. If you decline repairs after diagnostic work has begun, diagnostic/time charges and any authorized teardown or consumables are due before vehicle release.
- Contact & updates. You authorize us to contact you about estimates, status, payments, and pickup.
2) Diagnostics, Teardown & Non-Refundable Time
Diagnostic fees cover time, testing, scan-tool access, research, and road tests. These fees are non-refundable and do not guarantee a specific outcome.
Teardown/inspection may be required to identify root cause. If you decline reassembly or repairs, you are responsible for reassembly costs if requested; otherwise, the vehicle may be returned partially disassembled.
3) Parts, Special Orders, Cores & Returns
- Parts source. We may use new OEM, new aftermarket, remanufactured, or used parts as appropriate or as you select and authorize.
- Special orders. Non-stock/custom/electrical/programming/cut-to-fit parts are paid in advance and non-returnable once ordered.
- Electrical & installed parts. Non-returnable. Uninstalled standard parts may be returnable within 7 days per supplier policy and restocking fees.
- Core charges. Paid with the invoice; refundable only if cores are returned within 7 days, clean, complete, and rebuildable.
4) Labor, Warranty & Exclusions
- Labor warranty: 90 days or 3,000 miles (whichever first), unless otherwise stated on your invoice.
- Parts warranty: As provided by the manufacturer/supplier only.
- Exclusions: Wear, fluids beyond initial fill, contamination, misuse/abuse/overheating/low-fluid damage, racing/performance use, pre-existing/unrelated failures, and consequential/incidental damages (loss of use, towing, rental, downtime, lost profits).
- Warranty procedure: Warranty work must be performed at Biturbo Auto Repair. Present the original invoice. Outside charges are not covered unless pre-authorized in writing.
- Customer-supplied parts: If installed, no warranty on those parts or related labor; additional fitment/time may be billed.
5) Sublet Services & Road Testing
We may sublet specialized services (e.g., alignments, machine shop, programming). Third-party terms may apply and will be itemized.
You authorize reasonable road testing, including diagnostic equipment and data logging.
6) Shop Charges, Environmental & Hazardous Waste
A modest shop/environmental charge may be added to offset lawful handling/disposal of oils, coolants, solvents, batteries, tires, and compliance costs. This is not a government tax.
7) Vehicle Storage, Pickup & Abandonment
Storage fees: $45.00 / day beginning on the 4th calendar day after notice of completion, and only for days the vehicle is not being worked on. The storage rate and start date are disclosed on your estimate/invoice.
We will notify you when work is complete. Please arrange pickup promptly. Vehicles left unpaid or unclaimed may be processed under garagekeeper/mechanic’s lien and abandoned-vehicle procedures as permitted by Nevada law.
8) Payment Terms
- Payment due upon completion. Accepted methods: cash, major cards, Zelle/ACH (as posted).
- No surcharge by us. We do not add any surcharge for card payments. Your card-issuing bank may assess its own fees; our receipt reflects only the amount we charge.
- Chargebacks/returned payments. You are responsible for chargeback/NSF fees and the underlying invoice.
- Late balances may incur reasonable late charges and collection costs as allowed by law. We may retain the vehicle until paid.
9) Lien Rights & Title
You grant Biturbo Auto Repair a security interest/possessory lien in the vehicle and installed parts for charges due, including storage where applicable. We may retain possession until paid in full and pursue lien remedies as permitted by Nevada law.
10) Customer Responsibilities & Risk of Loss
- Remove personal belongings before service. We are not responsible for items left in vehicles.
- We exercise reasonable care; however, we are not insurers against theft, vandalism, fire, acts of God, or third-party damage outside our control.
11) Vehicle Data, Telematics & Privacy
Modern diagnostics may access vehicle data (fault codes, calibration files, VIN, mileage) and may require capturing/test-drive logs. You consent to reasonable access/use of such data solely to inspect, diagnose, repair, program, and quality-check your vehicle. We retain records as required by law and for legitimate business purposes.
12) Emissions, Safety & Compliance
You are responsible for maintaining your vehicle in a roadworthy and emissions-compliant condition. We will not disable emissions, safety, or anti-tampering systems. Any performance or non-stock requests are subject to our approval and applicable law.
13) Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
- Labor & diagnostics are not refundable once performed.
- Parts: see Section 3 for returnability, timelines, and restocking fees.
- Refunds, if any, are issued to the original payment method after inspection and supplier approval.
14) Disputes, Venue & Resolution
Please raise any concerns promptly so we can resolve them.
- Venue/jurisdiction: State or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.
- Prevailing-party fees: In any action to collect an undisputed balance, the prevailing party may recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs as permitted by law.
- Nothing here limits either party’s access to small-claims court where available.
15) General Terms
- Nevada Automotive Repair Customer Bill of Rights is posted on-site.
- Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
- Force majeure: We are not liable for delays/failures caused by events beyond our control (supply chain, utilities, strikes, weather, etc.).
- Entire agreement: Your signed work order/estimate and the final invoice, together with these Terms, form the entire agreement for services performed on the identified vehicle.
- Updates: We may update these Terms; the version in effect at the time of your authorization governs that job.
